Job overview

A telecommunications company based in Inverness and Paisley are now looking to recruit a business and administration modern apprentice for each location. All applicants should have a keen interest in working within a busy office environment doing admin tasks.

What might a typical day in this job look like?

Main Duties

  • Welcome visitors to the office as part of reception duties
  • Prepare meeting rooms including ordering lunches and clearing rooms promptly
  • Manage mail and courier services for all office post including collection for customers to be delivered to the office
  • Monitoring office stationery to ensure all necessary items are readily available and sourcing and ordering new items as requested.
  • Stock management
  • Booking Travel, accommodation, training events, venues etc. as required
  • Creating and maintaining new customer accounts

Other Duties

  • Support Provisioning and Mobile department with placing orders, notifying customers and suppliers of progress and filling in where necessary during absences
  • Ad hoc administration duties as required such as photocopying, scanning, data input etc.
