Skill Level: Advanced

This qualification is for candidates who work within the retail industry as a supervisor, team leader, shift leader, assistant manager or a trainee manager. In this qualification candidates will develop skills in a range of areas such as:

• checking deliveries and stock
• planning staffing
• work schedules
• recruiting new staff.

The mandatory units cover supporting effective team working in a retail environment, helping to plan and organise your own learning in a retail environment and helping others to learn in a retail environment. There are a wide range of optional units that can be selected to tailor the qualification to meet the needs of both the employer and employee.

Funding Available

This qualification is part of the Modern Apprenticeship Programme therefore may be funded by SDS (Skills Development Scotland) but exam and membership fees do apply.
