IT Support SCQF level 8

Skill Level: Higher

SCQF level 8 is for candidates who supervise or are at an advanced level within IT helpdesks and IT support environments, supporting organisation procedures, project management and supporting business transformation.

The mandatory units cover meta skills, supporting digital business transformation, applying methods and principles in project management, providing digital asset management and maintaining service request procedures. In addition, candidates would also be producing and testing automation scripts and producing service management reports and metrics.

Funding Available

This qualification is part of the Modern Apprenticeship Programme therefore may be funded by SDS (Skills Development Scotland).
