My experience with Microcom has been excellent from the first time I walked into their office for my interview. Frankie was really helpful in helping me narrow down what kind of environment I would enjoy working in and supported me all through each of my interviews by sending me helpful links and websites that would help me improve my interview skills and tips on how to prepare for my interview. I was buzzing when I got offered my job in a local solicitor’s office but after a few months I unfortunately lost my job through redundancy.
As soon as I contacted Frankie and Loraine to let them know they were sending my CV back out and getting me back into their office to get some more details. After a few weeks of being unemployed I landed my second job at a recruitment company who were more than happy to let me finish my apprenticeship within their office.
My assessor was also a huge help throughout this process as she was always only a text/phone call away when I needed her – whether I was stuck at a task, wanted to ask a stupid question or if I was running extremely late for my first day in the office due to a bad wind causing the trains to be cancelled! She was amazing at explaining all my tasks to me each week and provided the support to help me complete my apprenticeship, SCQF level 6 in Business and Administration
Can’t thank the Microcom Training team enough for everything they have done for me!
