A journey that started a year ago with both of them completing their Modern Apprenticeship modules in Retailing with Microcom assistance has culminated in both securing permanent management positions within my store at Glasgow Fort. The support and encouragement shown by your staff, their own dedication and hard work has realised 2 success stories and been an inspiration to others to take the same path. Both of these employees ‘started on the floor’ and to see them progress to a management position has been a real thrill for me personally. It has been recognised at an area level that David’s progress, in particular, has been examplar and all future candidates would benefit from a similar structured career programme.
