This qualification is for candidates who work within the hospitality industry as a supervisor, team leader, shift leader, assistant manager or trainee manager. In this qualification candidates will develop skills in a range of areas such as:

  • supervising staff
  • staff training
  • allocating work
  • leading meetings

The mandatory units cover providing leadership for your team, developing productive working relationships with colleagues, contributing to the control of resources, maintaining the health and safety of the working environment and leading a team to improve customer service. There are a wide range of optional units that can be selected to tailor the qualification to meet the needs of both the employer and employee.

  • This includes a health and safety at work certificate.

Funding Available

This qualification is part of the Modern Apprenticeship Programme therefore may be funded by SDS (Skills Development Scotland).
