Warehousing, Storage and Distribution SCQF Level 5
Skill Level: Intermediate
This qualification is for candidates working within a warehousing environment. They will develop their skills and understanding in a range of areas such as:
- picking goods
- wrapping and packing goods
- the efficient use of resources
- receiving and storing goods
- assembling orders for dispatch
- checking stock levels.
The mandatory units cover the importance of health and safety in the workplace and developing effective working relationships with colleagues. There are a wide range of optional units that can be selected to tailor the qualification to meet the needs of both the employer and employee.

This qualification is part of the Modern Apprenticeship Programme therefore may be funded by SDS (Skills Development Scotland).
