Skill Level: Advanced

This qualification is for candidates who work as first line managers. In this qualification candidates will develop skills in a range of areas such as:

building teams
managing conflict
coaching individuals
following disciplinary and grievance procedures.

The mandatory units include leading your team, developing your knowledge, skills and competency, managing peoples’ performance at work, and providing a safe, secure and productive working environment. There are a wide range of optional units that can be selected to tailor the qualification to meet the needs of both the employer and employee.

Funding Available

This qualification is part of the Modern Apprenticeship Programme therefore may be funded by SDS (Skills Development Scotland).
