Skill Level: Intermediate

This qualification is for candidates working within the retail industry who could be new to the role, don’t have a broad range of responsibility or are working in roles such as retail sales advisors, retail assistants or counter assistants. In this qualification candidates will develop skills in a range of areas such as:

• helping customers choose products
• managing and maintaining stock
• taking payments and visual merchandising.

The mandatory unit involves working effectively in your retail team. There are a wide range of optional units that can be selected to tailor the qualification to meet the needs of both the employer and employee.

Funding Available

This qualification is part of the Modern Apprenticeship Programme therefore may be funded by SDS (Skills Development Scotland) but exam and membership fees do apply.
